ASGP Ambient Video

ASGP held a Capstone Event on November 20 and 21, 2011, to highlight two successful years of program implementation. With speeches from Ambassador Crocker, Minister Ghazanfar, the ASGP COP and key staff, the Capstone Event brought together senior VIPs from the U.S. Embassy and USAID, ASGP staff who managed program implementation in all 34 provinces of Afghanistan, and 52 civil society organizations and ASGP grant recipients. 20 media outlets attended covering the event. The event served to capture lessons learned and recognize program achievements to enhance the social, economic, and political status of the women and girls in Afghanistan.
