EVAW TV Spot

Saba Media Organization (SMO) and the Education Center for poor Women (ECW), both ASGP Advocacy Coordination Grant recipients and AWAC members, hosted a 16-day activism campaign in support of the Elimination of Violence Against Women (EVAW) Law. SMO and ECW conducted a series of round-table discussions on this subject held in Kabul, Kunduz, Herat and Mazar to increase public awareness of the EVAW law and inform community members on how to report instances of abuse. The roundtables and short community dramas were filmed and broadcast on radio and television by Saba TV and Nawa Radio in 22 provinces of Afghanistan.
