Suboot News Agency

With funding from an ASGP Quick Impact Grant, Suboot News Agency in Kabul is training 30 young women in journalism, leadership and management. After four months, the women learned how to write and edit news reports, conduct interviews, produce news stories, and edit a weekly newspaper for distribution throughout the community. The agency has helped the participants apply for jobs in media at the end of their training. Suboot News Agency is working to raise funds to continue the journalism classes to other young women in the community.
